Hello, I’m Bhavyatta!
My collaborations span diverse industries, tackling challenges that shape systems, culture, and society.
I spent a decade inside institutions like Bank of Canada, Microsoft, Bell Canada, etc. And I’ve watched some institutional designs and systems fail while appearing to function. Now I research why governance frameworks enable harm through the appearance of accountability, and design policy instruments that create enforceable deterrence. Now, I work as a Research Practitioner and Strategic Foresight Advisor focused on AI infrastructure, climate accountability, and institutional equity.
Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation have shaped both my education and my career. My path began with early explorations in neural networks, fuzzy logic, neural gait analysis, and contracts automation. Over time, it’s brought me to leading impactful initiatives like directing Bank of Canada’s Security Operations, Policy, and Compliance; supporting Bell Canada through the nationwide 5G launch for next-generation networks; supporting the Canadian federal government departments and agencies with their Secure Digital Transformation journeys, and the Copilot proof of concept within the Health department as my final project at Microsoft in 2024.
Being ahead of time has helped me identify risks and preemptive strategies to prevent and, at the very least, adapt to technological dangers that don’t get advertised until they happen. I use my expertise and and intersectional approach to identify these blind-spots.
My experiences shape me as a professional and as a person, inspiring me to live creatively and work with integrity. Curiosity, resilience, and the joy of discovery drive me forward; which is why I’m not contributing to the AI governance, I’m partnering with individuals and organisations on building resilient and robust foundation that AI, or any future innovation can’t break, and change feels like a breeze.
With diverse interests, skills, and a commitment to many causes, I have pivoted into full time consultancy, research and writing, designing values-driven communities and programs that align technology, people, and purpose. As a trusted advisor, I foster collaboration rooted in direction and accountability, working to create measurable, inclusive, and sustainable outcomes.
My guiding principle: strategy (technology or social) should serve people and purpose.
