I study policy and systems governance intersectionally so I’m not blinded by cascading impacts that create systemic barriers. As consultant, I’ve led cybersecurity and digital transformation programs in both the public and private sector.
I founded Danuma™ and co-founded the Canadian Civic Infrastructure Alliance.
I’m on a mission to create conditions so I investigate structural vulnerabilities from a practitioner’s perspective. I’ve created the following diagnostic methodologies:
- Lovelace Threshold: Security-centred governance for organisations that can’t simply assume trust but intend to engineer through systemic accountability.
- Vulnerability Management for Policy Design: A policy translation instrument to identify where downstream AI governance fails because it categorises capability-based risks without governing upstream conditions.
- Regulation S.T.R.A.P.S.: A framework that names the design principles for governance built to avoid the threshold in the first place. It uses a load re-distribution method.

I read obsessively, write to think, love music and art, and I think about intergenerational consequences more than is probably reasonable. I find joy in the tiniest moments that we only witness if we’re paying attention.
